Highlights of Don't trust him, and don't love him either
In a kingdom that worships the sun as its supreme god, Celestia is born under a curse that prevents her from ever basking in its light. Abused and shunned as an “ugly monster,” she has spent her entire life hiding her face behind a mask. Then, unexpectedly, Duke Adel—the flawless head of the prestigious Crestia family—proposes marriage to her. She believes he wants nothing from her except her body and the rich, intoxicating “blood” that flows through her veins. But Adel’s overwhelming devotion slowly melts the walls around her wounded heart. Bound by the trauma they each carry, the two repeatedly find themselves caught in a frustrating and heartbreaking cycle of misunderstandings. A bittersweet romance fantasy about two wounded souls, drawn together by an unexpected marriage and a love neither of them knows how to escape.
