From Kotonoha: "Garden" is a collection of Furuya Usamaru's “indie” shorts that were published in Comic Cue, Manga Erotics and GARO respectively. The title is obviously a reference to Hieronymus Bosch’s famous triptych The Garden of Earthly Delights, with the first story being a homage to said painting. The other stories range from absurd comedies to fantasy to horror. It’s a very eclectic mixture, but make no mistake: artistically, Garden might just be Furuya’s most accomplished work after The Music of Marie.
Humanity is on the brink of extinction as a flower known as “Viscar” infects humans and animals, turning them into mindless hosts that feed on others. If you get bitten by the infected, or inhale the pollen that emits from their bodies, the flower will plant itself into your brain. Humanity is fighting a losing battle against this world-wide pandemic, and most people have given up hope. Volt was once part of the army and had been assigned to be the guard of Dr. Kisling, the scientist leading the development of a vaccine to fight against the Viscar. From an unfortunate accident, one of the contained Viscar pollen escaped, infecting Dr. Kisling. Dr. Kisling’s final wish to Volt was to find his daughter Lilith, and, with her help, continue the development of the vaccine. Lilith and Volt now venture into the post-apocalyptic world to bring back hope to humanity. [DrCoke]. — quoted from Mangahelper

Six months ago, Karukozaka High School was sucked into the demon world, and in the ensuing chaos, only two survivors emerged: Nobu, who defeated the Demon Lord that took over the school, and Yumi, who possesses latent demon powers of her own. Although they're both trying to put the incident behind them, the gateway to the Underworld remains open, and soon Nobu finds himself battling demons right on the streets of Tokyo. The reason for this infestation is simple: a secret organization is trying to establish a Demon Kingdom on Earth by summoning demons through the gateway. Nobu and Yumi are the only people to have been to the Underworld and survived, so they may have the power to stop the infestation but before that can even happen, they'll have to find each other first.
