The main story (of which, this first chapter is sort of the prologue to) is about a couple, who are rivals in the world of high school Go (As in the Japanese board game).

Since this traumatic experience, Jun lives in the shadows away from the limelight. But, one day, she is nominated to become an executive member of the "community outreach council." The middle schoolers Utahara Koharu and Hanaeda Yousuke are childhood friends, nothing more or less.
