The year is 12,090 A.D., and what little is left of humanity has finally crawled out from the ashes of war and destruction. Hachi Inugami es un estudiante de 14 años y tiene un sentido excesivamente desarrollado del olfato. Un día, siente un fuerte olor a sangre y a serpiente. Al llegar al sitio, se encontró un cadáver.
