During hyper-space navigation, Imperial Galactic Navy Officer Alan Corinth's spaceship is unexpectedly attacked and shot down. An alternative version of the Lost World

Zeon National Public Safety Division Investigator, Leopold Fieseler, was deeply entrenched in his investigation of a series of devastating terrorist bombings that had shaken Side 3 in December of UC0073. Without warning, he received a call from an old friend from childhood, Elise Ann Finnegan, with whom he had lost contact over the years. Elise, now employed in the Prefectural Office, urgently requested a meeting with Leopold. When they finally met, Elise handed him a disc containing a list of Zeon Officials at risk of assassination. What caught Leopold's attention, besides the urgency of the situation, was that all the officials were somehow connected to the bombings he was currently investigating. Initially, Leopold suspected that the list had been leaked to the press. However, upon closer inspection, he made a shocking discovery. The list included not only those that had already been victimized by the bombings, but also others, including the name of one that sent chills down his spine - "Commander Gihren Zabi," the leader of the Principality of Zeon.

Crest of the Stars follows Ghintec Linn (aka Jinto Lynn), a young count whose world is taken over by the space-dwelling race of the Abh. The invaders include the Mazone, a species of organic, plant-like women who had visited Earth in the distant past and have come back to claim it as their own.
